Humanites Department - Kipkeino High School

The department of humanities co-ordinates and oversees activities pertaining to the three subjects, (history and Government, Geography and Christian Religious Education. These are compulsory in Form one and Form two. Students choose any one of them at the end of Form two. This is to be examined at the KCSE Level. The subjects are generally interacting engaging students in lots of discussion, arguments and analysis of facts, thus enabling them to bring out, develop and improve their personalities and social skills to their full potential. Performance of the three subjects at KCSE level is quite impressive and it has strongly contributed positively to the school’s mean grade. Thus is why they are referred to as booster subjects. The school has maintained an impressive mean as follows in the preceding years.
